Yes, you can be married in a Cathedral !
This beautiful old building dates from 1825. It was raised to 'Cathedral status' in 1842. Standing before the altar and seeing light stream through the magnificent stained glass window will stir even the hardest heart. The layout is suitable for either large or small gatherings. All our services at Holy Trinity include: Verger, Choir, Organist and Bells.
You can be assured of a warm and friendly greeting from all involved with Holy Trinity.

INTER-DENOMINATIONAL: KING’S CHAPEL
King’s Chapel is situated next door to the Governor’s residence. Completed in 1560, this small, exquisite church is entered through an attractive courtyard. As the bridal walk takes her past the front of the pews, the guests are given a full view of her approach, not just her back, as in other churches.
We highly recommend this church. It is a truly memorable sight. All our services at King’s Chapel include Verger, Choir, Organist and Bells.

ROMAN CATHOLIC - OUR LADY OF EUROPE
Although best known for being the home of the famous statue of Our Lady of Europe, this church is also beautifully sited at Europe Point (the most southern tip of Europe). Very close to the bay, its small chapel is perfect for wedding ceremonies and huge courtyard, ideal for those all important photos.
The church stands on the site of a former mosque, but was converted in AD1309, when the Spanish king Ferdinand IV captured it and expelled the moslem population to Africa. It was at this point in history, that the statue was commissioned, although the present statue was believed to be a recreation made in AD 1462, as the original was lost in fighting between the Moors and the Spanish.

ROMAN CATHOLIC - SAINT MARY THE CROWNED
The cathedral is built on the site of what used to be a very beautiful and richly decorated mosque. After the Christians drove the moors from the rock in 1462, the mosque was used as a church until the Catholic King and Queen, Ferdinand and Isabella, decreed that it be stripped of it’s Islamic past and extended.
They donated a bell and a clock for the 100ft tower, which remain to this day. Their coat of arms can be seen in the courtyard - a truly regal setting for a marriage.

SAINT BERNARD´S CHURCH
St. Bernard’s Church is housed in a building dating back to 1897. Originally a Congregational Church, it then converted to a Catholic church. The church was totally re-furbished in 2007. It stands at the foot of the cliffs with wonderful views across the bays. The interior is very modern, bright and attractive. It exudes an air of joy and happiness.
